Finally, after six episodes The Bachelor’s highly-anticipated “walkout” finally happened. After weeks of teasing viewers of a dramatic cocktail party in which Matt Agnew explodes was a “complete waste of time”, we witness the event unfold.
Relive the dramatic moment below:
The scandalous chain of events commenced after Abbie and Matt retreated to a pool for a private moment following their single date the day prior. It was here that Abbie decided to tell Matt that fellow contestant Monique had allegedly called him a few, to use Matt’s own lingo, “flowery words”.
This left Matt confused and determined to get the truth. At the cocktail party that followed, Matt finally confronted Monique. Then, Monique confronted Abbie and Matt confronted Rachael, Nichole and Emma, and then everything unravelled from there.
Naturally, Twitter had some thoughts about the whole thing. Below, the best reactions to Matt’s epic walk out.

this might be one of the most ridiculous episodes of #thebachelorau I've ever seen, it's fantastic – an astrophysicist quizzes 16 women about which one called him a "dog c**t" and whether it was a joke

Matt: “There was some flowery language used..”

Monique: “Floury?”
Matt: “Flowery.”
Monique: “Flowery?”

My one rule in life is to never trust anyone who starts a convo/overuses the term “babe” when you know they’re not there to play nice #TheBachelorAU
