During his adorable single date with Angie Kent on last night’s episode of The Bachelorette, we saw a different side to the footy player. Calm, kind and truly genuine, it didn’t take long for the 25-year-old to prove without a shadow of a doubt that— unlike Jess Glasgow— he joined the dating franchise for all the right reasons.
After a long conversation about family, life and love, Jackson– who works as a sales executive in his dad’s famous business, Garlo’s Pies— returned to the mansion with a kiss and a rose under his belt, instantly notifying his competitors that he’s a frontrunner and a firm favourite.
But, in an unexpected and truly unfair twist, he will leave the competition the same way he came in… SINGLE.
How do we know this?
A quick Google search of Jackson’s first and last name brings up his Facebook page. While at first glance it seems relatively normal— he has a cute display picture, a pretty cover photo of the sunset and a bunch of snaps with the boys— if you click on his “About” tab you will see his relationship status is, uhhhh this hurts, SINGLE.
I know, I’m super triggered, too.
As we know, Network 10 has very strict rules about what contestants can and cannot have on their social media accounts. When you sign on to star in the show, you agree to abide by these guidelines and when they’re broken, there are consequences.
So for Jackson to have a “single” status on his biggest social media account is either a huge red flag or a huge oversight.
I think it’s safest to go with the former over the latter, ok?
If you’re still not convinced, this should get you over the line.
Search up any of Jackson’s co-stars on social media and you will see they’ve left their relationship status blank. Don’t believe me? Search these names: Ryan Anderson, Ciarran Stott, Scot Fuller etc. etc.
Anyway, I am going to wrap this up because this sucks and I am getting emotional.
