As the nation continues to reel from last night’s Married At First Sight Reunion special, turns out, there’s even more drama on the way in the eigth season of the hit reality show.
Eagle-eyed fans may have spotted a massive trailer for the upcoming season sprinkled in with ad breaks throughout the spicy dinner party.
Clocking in at a whopping three minutes, the promo trailer featured more than the fresh-faced newlyweds and their oddly sentimental vows to complete strangers. It also introduced a new face to the team of ‘experts’, sexologist Alessandra Rampolla.
Replacing Dr Trisha Stratford, the more quiet of the trio, not much is known about Rampolla, aside from her profession and her Puerto Rican heritage. However, she does come with a substantial Instagram following compared to her co-stars, John Aiken and Mel Schilling, boasting a whopping 687k followers on the platform.
In the three-minutes of reality TV bliss, Rampolla can be seen asking contestants to get more physical than we’ve ever seen in previous seasons. Asking each pairing to get intimate, from an awkward cradle to uncomfortable eye-gazing sessions, the sexologist aims to bring each couple together physically, as well as emotionally.
In addition to Rampolla’s introduction, the latest footage also shows the new cast of loved-up couples up close and personal with some look to take out the top spot of this season’s villain.
