David And Victoria Beckham Celebrate 22nd Anniversary With Throwbacks To Most Iconic Fashion Moments

A trip down (a not-so-fashionable) memory lane

Way back before the new millenium hit, David and Victoria Beckham tied the knot. And while Posh and Beck’s loved-up, walk down the aisle is one newlyweds still have their heart set on today, there’s something about their everlasting adoration for each other over two decades later that pulls at the heartstrings.

To celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary, David took to Instagram to share a series of throwback photos of the most iconic times when he and Victoria sported matching fashion moments.

“22 years later, still matching outfits,” he wrote. “Happy anniversary love u so much and thank you for giving me our amazing kids so we can all wear the same.”

The first image on the post was perhaps their most memorable coordinating ensemble yet—their wedding day. For those in need of a reminder, the pair wore matching purple outfits to their reception, where they cut the cake with a sword.

Following their trip down memory lane, David was sure to include other notable moments from their two decades of couple dressing. From their ode to motorcycle jackets and black leather to their recent stroll through nature in matching khaki hued outerwear, the pair even included their four children—Brooklyn, Harper, Romeo and Cruz—in their coordinating escapades.

As for how Victoria chose to pay homage to their timeless romance, she shared an oh-so-sweet video to her Instagram, featuring clips of herself and David over the years. The tearjerker included visuals of the pair dancing at their wedding reception, making each other laugh, holding hands, and spending time with their children.

“I love you David 💕 Happy Anniversary 💕,” she captioned the post.

Back in 2020, Victoria detailed how she and her husband work well as a team when it comes to being dedicated parents to their children.

She explained in an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR U.K., that even when their busy schedules attempts to create a divide, David, herself and their four children make sure to prioritise precious family time.

“I’m very lucky to have a job that doesn’t feel like a job; it’s my passion,” she said.

“So I love going to work. But with the kids, both David and I are really hands-on. Yes, I’m up early working out but one of us will do the school run and we always try to be home by dinnertime. We’re very strict about that when we’re in London—at six o’clock we are all together, eating dinner, talking about our days. We communicate a lot—we’re a very close family.”
