Yesterday police found a four-year-old girl sleeping just meters away from the bodies of her parents who had been killed in an apparent murder-suicide.
Police were called to the house on The Horsley Drive in Smithfield after a relative visited the property and made the gruesome discovery.
Investigations are continuing into the circumstances of their deaths and according to The Daily Telegraph, neighbours say the couple had recently separated and the woman and young girl had moved out earlier this year.

“It’s so sad, she is such a smart little girl. They didn’t harm her, thank God.
“We would always say hello to them, they were nice enough.
