26-year-old Ella Knights has died in a scooter crash in Bali, Indonesia.

Police believe the Sydney local lost control of her scooter at around 3:00am on Thursday morning in Canggu.
There were no witnesses to the accident and it’s believed that no other vehicles were involved.

Ella was found in a roadside ditch and was immediately taken to Canggu Medical Clinic, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.

It’s thought that Ella’s helmet may not have been properly fastened at the time of the crash, however, a cause of death has not yet been declared.
She had been on holiday in India, Bali and Singapore and was due to return home to Australia in three days time, on May 1st.
