In news that may or may not surprise many, 30-year-old Shia LaBeouf and English actress Mia Goth, 22, married in a Las Vegas chapel live streaming the event complete with an Elvis Presley impersonator because…obviously.
The notoriously strange LaBeouf, known for live streaming his own heartbeat, walking red carpets with a paper bag over his head and who filmed himself watching his own movies in the name of experimental art, it was expected that his wedding would be anything but traditional.
The footage captured by TMZ showed the loved up pair exchange Elvis inspired vows in front of a full alter of flowers agreeing to “adopt one another’s hounddogs, not to wear their blue suede shoes in the rain and to give each other a hunk, a hunk of burning love”
LaBeouf finished his speech with “And I’ll do whatever you ask me to do” while Goth announced with a smile “And I’m pretty much going to do whatever I want.”
However it certainly hasn’t been smooth sailing for the pair who began dating on the set of Nymphomaniac: Volume II in 2012.
In July 2015 the couple made headlines when an unsettling video surfaced of the couple fighting in the street in Germany. Shia reportedly later said to locals “If I’d stayed there, I would have killed her…It’s hard bro- really F***ed up-in your heart.”
It is not clear whether the wedding was real or performance art.
