Taking to Instagram on Sunday night, Steph shared five candid photos from the proposal, showing Josh get down on one knee beside a fountain at the same place the pair first met over 10 years ago.
"On Friday 23/11/18 the love of my life... my crush I’ve had since I was 12 years old... proposed to me in my favourite place in the whole entire world 🙈❤️," she captioned the images. "He planned a whole engagement weekend with all of my closest friends and family and it has been the best weekend of my life... I am so excited for this new chapter with you my love 🤗💍 @itsjoshmiller I love you, and thank you for everything 😘"
Later, Steph shared a further two photos showing off her stunning emerald-cut diamond, which sits on a solid, yellow-gold band with diamonds all the way around. She then took to Instagram Stories to share close up photos and videos, saying "this will take a bit of getting used to."
The pair first met at the Murray River in 2006, when Steph was 12, after her family purchased a holiday house there. Their families quickly became close friends and, eventually, Steph and Josh started dating.
Josh also took to Instagram to share the news, writing: "This weekend has been the most special weekend of my life. Friday afternoon after 5 months planning involving many close friends and family members came to life. I asked the girl of my dreams if she will be mine forever and she said YES! Steph and I met at the farm, got engaged at the farm and plan to marry at the farm!!! 😝Happy doesn’t come close to how I’m feeling right now! Love you always forever Steph!"
Congrats to the happy couple!
