The 23-year-old Manly local, who came fourth in the dating competition, told KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O that she will be watching the finale with rumoured runner-up Sophie Tieman.
As fans wait eagerly to find out who wins Nick Cummins heart there have been persistent whispers that the former rugby star is single again and that he didn’t find the one.
Apparently a source close to Cummins told New Idea that he “struggled emotionally” after filming the finale, which was taped in June, eventually realising he had made a mistake by not picking Cassandra.
“He didn't expect things to end that way and wasn't really prepared to have feelings for more than one person at a time,” a friend told the publication.
Host Jackie Henderson posed the question to Cassie – “so they are saying though that he’s now ditched the winner and that you two are together…”
To which Cassie responded, ““I have seen a couple of those articles. But there’s a lot of fake news.”
Adding that she has had a few accidental run-ins with the 30-year-old in the northern Sydney suburb.
“Um, well, yeah I’ve bumped into him in Manly,” admitted Cass. “I think it was in like a bar in Manly.
“It was just like a quick hello, like we’re not allowed to be seen with each other and chat so it was just like a hi, bye. Out of respect to the winner I don’t really want to be seen chatting to him and stuff.”
Cassie confirms that she hasn't dated anyone since Nick and is open to a new romance now that that the Bachelor is almost over. Contuing to reveal she doesn't see a future with the Honey Bacdger.
“Going on that show it was kind of like a second chance for me and him and by the end of it I was so invested in him and I was obviously falling for him and he told me that he wasn’t interested,” she explained.
“But walking away from it, like he was the one that got away from me in the real world, and then I got my answer so I guess it was a bit of closure and he wasn’t interested and that was my answer.”
