Elly And Becky Miles Had Their Phones Confiscated On ‘The Bachelorette’ Thanks To Locky’s Past Behaviour

It all makes sense now

And it seems that a mobile phone ban is not a policy that Network 10 normally enforces when filming The Bachelor franchise. Typically, the contestants’ phones are confiscated but not the Bachelor or Bachelorette themselves.

According to an insider on So Dramatic!, their phones were confiscated by the producers because they were nervous that the sisters would text other men during filming. The producers wanted to avoid even more scandals and spoilers that could bring the franchise undone—just like Locky’s behaviour did.

During his time on The Bachelor, Locky was accused of texting and chatting to other women on Instagram while filming the Love in Lockdown episodes of the show.

While his season was airing, an insider told New Idea magazine that Locky’s “been sliding into the DMs of several women on Instagram,” and that he does this as an attempt to start dating them.

“He likes all of their photos to get their attention,” the insider added. “He sends them a cheeky message and, of course, they’re more than happy to reply, considering he’s Australia’s most eligible Bachelor.”

Back on September 14, Instagram influencer Claire Lucinda also confessed to being sent flirty messages from Locky, telling So Dramatic! that “he was asking for my Snapchat, he was DMing me every single day.”
