The freelance reporter who has worked for CBS and Yahoo has been condemned for his insensitive tweets joking about Ariana Grandeโs music in the aftermath of the explosion.
โMULTIPLE CONFIRMED FATALITIES at Manchester Arena. The last time I listened to Ariana Grande I almost died too,โ he tweeted.

Predictably, Leavittโs tweets promoted mass outrage on the social media platform.
โDude, no. Delete and sincerely apologise to save yourself a shred of grace and dignity. Donโt just carry on joking, you plum,โ one Twitter user wrote in reply, while another added: โThatโs truly unbelievable. and the fact that it had so many RTs & likes makes me wanna vomit.โ
