Edwina Bartholomew has opened up in a recent interview about her wedding plans with fiance Neil Varcoe and the reason why she almost gave back her engagement ring.
The Sunrise presenter told The Daily Telegraph that for their wedding, she wants to keep things simple.
โMy only prerequisite is that we have sausage rolls and pies and ham rolls at the end of the night,โ she said.
โI am dead serious, I love sausage rolls and I hate it when you go to weddings and it is all fancy food and you canโt actually eat anything!โ

She announced her engagement a week ago, sharing the story on Instagram.
โOn this day, two wonderful weeks ago, the love of my life @neilwrites asked me to be his wife,โ she wrote. โAnd I saidโฆ ummโฆ. ahhโฆ let me have a thinkโฆ just kiddingโฆ YES. We are over the moon xx.โ
She told Confidential for The Daily Telegraph that while she was over the moon about the engagement, the ring wasnโt quite what she was expecting.
โI chose one (a ring) that was a lot smaller and then he quite literally accidentally got the one that was a lot bigger,โ she said.
โWe actually went to the store and I tried to make him take it back, and they donโt take refunds.
โSo Iโm stuck with this rather large, amazingly gorgeous, gigantic diamond ring,โ she laughed.
It still looks pretty good to us!
