When it comes to unlocking the secrets to Jennifer Aniston’s everyday beauty regimen, the 50-year-old has remained tight-lipped about her favourite skin care and hair products. However, there are a few tidbits we do know, like her penchant for finding something you love and sticking to it.
Here, marieclaire Australia talks to Aniston about her new fragrance, self-confidence, and her make-up must-haves.
“All of my fragrances capture some element of California. What I love about Chapter Two is that it takes a more unexpected approach. It touches more on the glamorous side of life than my previous scents.”
“That combination of sandalwood, musks and ambrette [is so sophisticated]. I love the way all of the notes in the dry down come together to create a tangible sense of warmth.”
“It’s a really versatile scent so you can wear it anywhere, but I picture a woman who wears chapter two wearing this fragrance when hosting an intimate dinner party at home, or for any kind of fun and sexy evening.”
“Beauty to me means inner confidence. Knowing yourself. I think a woman looks her most beautiful when she’s feeling confident and enjoying herself.”
“I like to keep my daytime make-up really minimal. A pinky nude lip, a coat of mascara and maybe some cream blush.”
“If I could only have five make-up products in my make-up bag, they would be mascara, lip balm, a good lipstick – I like Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Penelope Pink – Clé de Peau Beauté concealer and a rollerball of one of my fragrances so I can reapply on the go.”
“The make-up artists I regularly call on are Angela Levin, Gucci Westman and Charlotte Tilbury.”
I use an Olaplex hair mask once a week and I often let my hair air-dry to avoid damage caused by hot styling tools. My hairstylist is Chris McMillan [who created “the Rachel”, which helped propel Aniston to fame on sitcom Friends].
