The red carpet isn’t the only place to spot a star at the Cannes Film Festival. Each year, Dior Beauty opens its Dior Suite on the 6th floor of Le Majestic Hotel, an iconic hotel set on the doorstep of the festival’s red carpet.
The hotel is a celebrity hot-spot. Overlooking the Mediterranean and (more importantly at this time of year) the star-studded Palais des Festivals’ red carpet, the hotel is a hive of activity during the film festival.
Security is tight getting into the Majestic because, well, you are very likely to run into a star like Natalie Portman walking through in the lobby. But once you do get inside the hotel and take the elevator to level six, the Dior Suite is a sanctuary.
For the entire festival, A-listers have been making a beeline to the suite for a moment of refined pampering before their call time. Guests this year have have included Natalie Portman, Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence.
The Dior Beauty Suite At Cannes
Boasting 350 square meters, the 6th floor space is transformed into a dedicated beauty hub for the cream of the film industry. Inside the discrete doors, celebrities can get facials (performed by UK-based celebrity facialist Hadda Akrim), Dior makeup looks created by the Dior Pro Makeup team, and red carpet-worthy hair by Dyson Beauty.
The Dior Beauty Suite this year has seen some well-known faces coming through its doors. Dior ambassador and face of Miss Dior, Natalie Portman looked incredible on the red carpet in a glittering archival-inspired Dior gown, paired with timeless makeup by Dior Beauty.
Using Dior Beauty makeup collections, created by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, Portman’s beautiful makeup showcased a statement lip, winged eyes, pristine skin and a healthy glow.

The A-listers Who Visited The Dior Beauty Suite This Year
Every year the space charms guests with a new theme. In 2025, the theme is based around Dioriviera. The walls have been encased in natural sisal and rattan and towering animal sculptures have been wrapped in woven fibre, which gives a magical and welcoming feel for guests.
And the guests have been impressive.
Fellow House ambassadors Charlize Theron, Anya Taylor-Joy and Johnny Depp also visited the suite this year, while Robert Pattinson caused more than a ripple amongst fans when he graced the red carpet with his co-star and friend of Dior, Jennifer Lawrence, for the premiere of their film Die, My Love.
Both Pattinson and Lawrence visited the Dior Suite to retouch and take a moment of quite high above the bustle of the red carpet.
Marie Claire has heard under very good authority that the House has also welcomed A-listers Camille Cottin, Raphaël Quenard, Mallory Wanecque, Juliette Armanet, Nicole Wallace, Carla Bruni and Lucien Laviscount through its doors.
With the sun shining and the sea glistening and access to a few minutes at the Dior Beauty Suite, it’s no wonder the stars seem to have their glow on this year.
