As expected, the 2017 Met Gala served up some of the most breathtaking hair and make-up looks we’ve seen all year. But one breakaway trend stood out from all the rest: while there was the usual smattering of statement lips, a noticeable number of celebrities chose to accentuate their eyes instead.
