Dua Lipa and Callum Turner danced the night away in Palermo, Sicily over the weekend. At least, that’s what we’re assuming happened.
The newlyweds, who announced their engagement last year, tied the knot in a lavish three-day celebration and, while the main wedding dress remains under wraps, we’ve been treated to enough glimpses of the festivities to know it was a very chic affair. Embroidery, bows and delicate lace trims were everywhere, delivering a healthy dose of la dolce vita.
Photos from the first evening of festivities show Lipa in a custom white Bottega Veneta halterneck gown featuring a dramatic plunging back and the house’s signature intrecciato weave. The look was finished with a mermaid-style skirt crafted from white ostrich feathers.
She accessorised with a matching feathered clutch and an impressive suite of Bulgari jewels, including a Serpenti High Jewellery necklace in rose gold set with tanzanite, onyx and diamonds, a Serpenti Secret watch, a High Jewellery Bulgari Tubogas watch and a pair of High Jewellery Serpenti ruby earrings.
According to Vanity Fair, the main event took place on Saturday, June 6 at the fairy tale Villa Valguarnera. The 18th-century Baroque estate, often referred to as a “little Versailles”, overlooks the Sicilian coastline and provided an appropriately romantic backdrop for the ceremony.
Reports suggest the couple exchanged vows beneath a gazebo on the villa grounds before guests were treated to a performance of Elton John’s “Your Song”.
The celebrations continued with an Italian wedding feast curated by Michelin-starred chef Tony Lo Coco. Guests reportedly enjoyed Sicilian favourites including anelletti alla Norma, panelle, crocché, cassate and cannoli, courtesy of Lo Coco and Michelin-starred restaurant Osteria dei Vespri.
According to The Sun, waiters also circulated silver trays piled high with Margherita pizzas because, frankly, what is an Italian wedding without pizza?
As the night wore on, guests danced into the early hours to sets from Carl Cox, Martin Garrix, David Guetta and Peggy Gou.
The guest list was equally impressive, with attendees including Donatella Versace, Charli XCX and husband George Daniel, Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker and his wife Sophie, Joe Alwyn, Grace Gummer, Olivia Dean and a host of the couple’s closest friends and family.

Photos reportedly taken at the ceremony suggest Villa Valguarnera was transformed into a verdant dreamscape, with climbing greenery and delicate white flowers enveloping the historic estate. The aesthetic, which Dua seemingly loves too, speaks to a growing wedding trend that embraces nature in its most romantic and unruly form.
Custom Photo Booths
Proof that the couple thought of everything? A retro-style photo booth tucked behind a curtain of ivory linen, complete with their names rendered in cutwork lace embroidery.
Custom Fans & Napkins
Keeping the embroidery thread alive, it seems the couple wove stitched details throughout the celebration, from personalised fans and napkins to keepsakes guests could take home, each embroidered with the phrase: “stay mad with me forever.” Our hearts!
Ribbons Galore
The sprawling gardens of Villa Valguarnera were lined with chairs adorned in oversized satin bows. Their silky tails trailed across the grass, creating a scene so romantic it all but confirmed the bow trend isn’t going anywhere in 2026.
Baroque Finishes
Ornate silverware, tapered candles and richly layered tablescapes echoed the villa’s Baroque grandeur, while vintage cars and antique curios lent the celebrations the atmosphere of a nostalgic Italian summer. The aesthetic feels particularly fitting for Lipa, whose love of Mediterranean escapes has become something of a signature in recent years.
