Though she didn’t spend much time on the red carpet this awards season, it seems Angelina Jolie has been enjoying the company of her children instead, after photos emerged of the fun outing she took daughters Zahara, 15, and Vivienne, 11, on this week.

Jolie treated her girls to Cirque du Soleil’s touring show Volta during its time in Los Angeles. Following the showstopping acrobatics show, Zahara and Vivienne had the chance to go backstage and meet the cast – and of course, there’s photographic proof.
Understandably, the cast was starstruck by their unexpected guests, crew member Paola Fraschini even took to Instagram to thank Jolie and co. for watching the performance.
“Ok.. I’ve never thought I could meet Angelina Jolie! She came to see the show…What a beautiful soul.. 🦋🤩”
Jolie looked chic as ever, in what appears to be a black slip dress and trench with matching pumps. Zahara took style notes from her mum, also choosing a black ensemble, while Vivienne looked snug in a white hoodie.
Public appearances involving Jolie and her children may be rare, but they’re hardly ever ‘ordinary’. Earlier this year, Angelina took her two eldest daughters Zahara and her sister Shiloh, 13, to meet Ethiopia’s first female president, Sahle-Work Zewde.
Their time together was spent discussing topics from education, to sanitary pad solutions to enable girls to continue their schooling (girls often stay home from class while menstruating due to lack of supplies), and Ethiopian culture and history.
