Ivanka Trump’s Self-Help Book Has Been Slammed By Critics

In it, she reveals she’s sometimes too busy for massages

Ivanka Trump, who just last week was booed for defending her father’s stance on women in Berlin, is under fire again: this time, for the self-help tome she has just published.

The First Daughter penned ‘Women Who Work: Rewriting The Rules For Success’ to offer advice to women juggling motherhood and their career and was, according to its preface, written before Donald Trump became President.

In it, she passes on “the best skills she has learned in life”, which appear largely to be taken from other people’s ideas.

Dubbed “a strawberry milkshake of inspirational quotes” by the New York Times, it takes large chunks of wisdom from the likes of Sheryl Sandberg, Socrates and Coco Chanel, sprinkled with not-so-helpful recollections of that time when Ivanka couldn’t squeeze in a massage or morning meditation, she was that busy.

The book is equally laden with references to her eponymous jewellery and apparel collections.

Its one saving grace? Sale proceeds will be donated to various US charities to prevent Ivanka from being accused of profiting directly from her role as the President’s senior advisor.
