Supermodel Naomi Campbell, 53, has announced the birth of her second child. It was a surprise to fans of the acclaimed supermodel, who didn’t know that she was expecting.
It’s unclear whether she gave birth, used a surrogate, or adopted the child, and she has also not disclosed a name for the child. All we know, is that her new little one is a bouncing baby boy!
Campbell took to Instagram to share the news, alluding to her age not getting in the way of her urge to become a mother for a second time.
“My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence,” she wrote on Instagram.
“A True Gift from God, blessed! Welcome Babyboy.”
The exciting news was accompanied by another message to all the other would-be mothers out there who may be nervous about taking the step to expand their family in their middle age.
Campbell added, “It’s never too late to become a mother.”
The post showcased a gorgeous photo of Campbell cradling her new baby in her arms, with him rugged up in a white onesie and cosy beanie. Campbell is holding his hand, while her daughter also joins the family hand holding.
Campbell has been fiercely private about her family, and is still yet to announce the name of her two-year-old daughter. She did not elaborate about the circumstances of her birth either, but did share that she is not adopted.
Naturally, her celebrity friends rushed to the comments with Donatella Versace writing, “Congratulations Omi!!”
Marc Jacobs shared, “Oh my! Already? I can’t believe a second blessing. How amazing!!”
While Zoe Saldana wrote, “Oh my goodness! Welcome!! Blessings upon blessings!”
