Playboy Bunny Appears In Court Over Naked Snap

The model has entered a plea of not guilty

It was the Snapchat photo that sparked outrage around the world.

When former Playboy playmate Dani Mathers snapped a picture of a naked woman in the changing room of a Los Angeles gym, and posted it along with the caption “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either” the backlash was swift and strong.

Not only was the model banned from LA Fitness gyms – and condemned on social media for body-shaming – but Los Angeles police began an investigation after the alleged victim, who is in her 70s, came forward.

Now, Mathers has appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to a charge of invasion of privacy.

According to the Telegraph, her lawyer said, “She very much regrets what happened. She apologised for her behaviour and we’re looking forward to resolving this case in a very fair manner.”

Recently, Mathers tweeted, “I have taken full responsibility for the mistakes I have made & will continue to love myself & others…I wish this for the rest of you too.”

If she is convicted, she faces up to six months in prison and a fine.
