During his whistlestop two-day tour of Finland this week, Prince William took the time to carry out a very important errand on behalf of his four-year-old son, Prince George.
The father of two personally delivered Prince George’s handwritten Christmas wish list to Santa Claus during a trip to a festive market in Helsinki, and revealed the one and only thing the little prince wants for Christmas.

The adorable letter opened with “Dear Father Christmas, This year I have been naughty/nice.” With a slightly wobbly circle, George showed Santa that he had been “nice” this year. Although the page had space for five present requests, the prince asked for only one – a police car – before signing off “Love, George”.

As he handed the letter to Father Christmas, Metro reports that William said with a laugh, “I’ve seen you and I had to give you this letter. He hasn’t written down many requests, so I think one request is probably ok.”
While Santa had a good look at the list, the proud dad put in a word for his son, saying, “But he’s been a nice boy, a nice boy.”
Last year, George and Charlotte were pictured attending a family church service with the Middletons in Berkshire on Christmas Day, getting to the spirit by munching on brightly coloured candy canes.

This year, the youngsters are believed to be joining in the royal family’s Christmas celebrations at Sandringham, where their treat food will be a little more luxurious: a grand Christmas lunch with their great granny the Queen.
Although a real police car might not fit, even under a royal Christmas, we hope Santa grants Prince George’s wish.
