Troye Sivan Dominates The ARIA Awards, Taking Home Four Trophies

The 2023 ARIA awards was held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion last night. 

The evening saw some of Australia’s biggest stars come together to celebrate the country’s best music talents, with awards given across 29 different categories. 

The evening saw Troye Sivan dominate the awards, taking home four trophy’s for Song of the Year and Best Solo Artist, as well as Best Produced Release with his producer Styalz Fuego and Best Engineered Release, also with Styalz Fuego. 

GFlip also took out two awards, winning Best Video and Best Australian Live act.

Who Was Nominated For An ARIA Award In 2023? 

This year, Genesis Owusu lead the way, with seven nominations to his name. Also nominated was Troye Sivan, Kylie Minogue, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Teskey Brothers, G Flip, The DMAS, The Kid LAROI, Peach PRC and more. 

Who Hosted The 2023 ARIA Awards? 

This year, Today presenter Brooke Boney and comedian and radio host Tommy Little will hosted the awards. However, the pre-show coverage (otherwise known as the red carpet) was hosted by model Christian Wilkins and music presenter, author and podcaster Bridget Hustwaite.

Who Performed At The 2023 ARIA Awards? 

Multiple nominees took to the stage to perform their biggest hits. This includes G Flip, Budjerah, DMA’S, Brad Cox, Peach PRC, Jessica Mauboy, Meg Mac and Fanny Lumsden.
