While the COVID-19 pandemic has left us social distancing, there’s one thing that will always bring clarity: wholesome dog Instagram accounts. The latest is a reaction to the current self-isolation and lockdown’s happening globally, @dogsworkinggfromhome. While most of our furry friends are accustomed to seeing us leave each morning, the sudden working from home rules means that they are with us 24/7 (much to their delight, no doubt).
Brand manager Mark Polchleb realised that this subject deserved its own Insta account, which has quickly garnered a following of over 30,000.
“I just took advantage of the fact that my dogs are at my feet. I thought ‘we all need a bit of happiness in our lives right now’,” Polchleb told The Guardian. “I think we’ve all experienced trying to type on the keyboard with the dog edging its head into your hands.”
