Another successful pairing has been secured on this season of Farmer Wants A Wife, with Farmer Thomas and Clarette declaring themselves smitten and strolling off into the sunset.
Farmer Thomas has endured a bumpy road to love on his journey this season, with a slew of controversies and setbacks threatening to derail his hopes of finding his forever partner.
After opening his heart to Claire early on in the game, the 35-year-old farmer from Kimba was blindsided when his initial pick bowed out. What ensued was a rollercoaster of emotions that saw the farmer struggle to let the flame die as quickly as some of the other contestants had hoped. Text messages and tense conversations led to a missing Farmer Thomas, while his remaining ladies feared they faced an uphill battle in the quest for his affections.
But despite the ups and downs, it was the spark between Farmer Thomas and Clarette that continued to hold strong throughout, eventuating in a fairytale ending for the newly-minted couple.

Are Farmer Thomas & Clarette Still Together?
During the first episode of season 15, Thomas seemed fairly blown away by English teacher Clarette, telling producers that he thought she was beautiful and admitting that she “took my breath away”. The initial sparks were certainly flying, so the audience was definitely puzzled when Thomas decided to ignore the obvious chemistry with Clarette and choose Claire for his first single date.
Clarette was as confused as we were, but ever the patient partner-in-waiting, she put aside her trepidation and continued to build on their initial connection, fostering a gentle, yet undeniable chemistry that Farmer Thomas returned to time and time again.
On Monday’s episode, the farmer’s mind finally settled on who he’d chosen to spend the rest of his life on the land with – and to no one’s surprise – it was Clarette.
After letting his remaining ladies Rachael and Jess know that he’d (finally) made up his mind, Thomas then mustered the courage to come clean to his chosen one. Amid a romantic sunset setting, the ginger-bearded gentleman clasped his lover’s hands in his, revealing: “Clarette, when you walked into that room, my eyes just locked on you.”
“You took my hand, and that really meant a lot to me,” he continued, before diving in with the words Clarette had been waiting so patiently for: “I love you.”
“I love you too,” she responded. “It’s been hard at times, and it’s tested us, but I’ve always said if we can get through this, we can get through anything. I just think you’re an amazing person inside and out, and I’ve been waiting and hoping for you, and you’re here,” she continued before going in for a romantic kiss.
Finding someone to share his life with hasn’t been easy for Farmer Thomas – whose isolated setting has proven quite the hurdle to overcome until now. With filming wrapping up at the end of 2024, all reports point to Clarette and Thomas being very much together, with earlier spoilers revealing that the teacher moved in straight away to start their life together.
With the two remaining farmers yet to find their match, we’ll be waiting for the reunion to see just how strong the couple are nearly one year on.
