Just when we thought Season 15 of Farmer Wants A Wife couldn’t give us any more unexpected twists, the rural dating franchise decided to throw another young hopeful into the mix with Farmer Jack.
If the Tasmanian-born farmer looks familiar, it’s because he was actually part of the show’s initial casting announcement back in 2024, when the bachelors were first revealed. However, as the show got closer to airing, its crop of farmers dwindled, leaving only four of the promised eight as part of the final pick and Jack’s name was notably absent.
After weeks of watching his fellow farmers search for their soulmates among the selection of incredible contestants, it was finally time for Farmer Jack to begin his own quest for love on the land.
After all, when Farmer Jarrad and Chloe took their romance to the real world earlier than expected, there was a budding bachelor-sized hole that needed filling.

The 26-year-old might be ready to find love, but looking for it on Farmer Wants A Wife wasn’t exactly on his 2025 bingo card. According to the rural romantic, we all have his mum’s initiative to thank for his participation in season 15.
“My mum signed me up initially!” he told New Idea. “It was a shock at first. But then, as I thought more about it, it sort of started to make more sense, and I thought, why not give it a crack?”
“I did a lot of thinking, and it seemed like a really great opportunity to meet some lovely ladies. And it’s definitely the right time, I suppose, where I felt like that part of my life was lacking a little bit, and I wanted to find a wife, so it all made sense.”
Farmer Jack admits that while he’s not exactly an open book when it comes to his dating history, his mum “probably knew” the reality of his situation: “She wants the best for me, so that’s why she did it.
The self-confessed “reliable and straightforward” guy, Jack is looking for “someone with a calming temperament who enjoys the simple things in life. A girl who is family-oriented, with a good sense of humour,” he shared. And, perhaps more importantly for the Apple Isle-native, someone who’s “willing to move to the country for me. And who wants kids, too.”

Who Are Farmer Jack’s Ladies?
After a later start, Farmer Jack was officially off on his quest for love, and joining him at the rodeo were four hopefuls vying for his affection. While Framer Jack spent his first day getting to know eight lovely ladies that host Natalie had searched far and wide for, ultimately, the Tassie dairy farmer decided only four were for him.
Asking Monique, Hayley, Sarah and Olivia back to his homestead, Nat decided to offer the young farmer a chance to form a deeper connection with one of the ladies by suggesting an overnight date as his first.
Farmer Jack asked Sarah to join him for a romantic evening, before the rest of the women moved in the next day. Sparks were flying early on and the connection only blossomed as the two shared a little more than conversation over a candlelit picnic.
The flames kept burning brighter with Sarah, but Jack was equally as eager to explore things with the other ladies, forming particularly strong bonds with Olivia and Monique. While his road to love has been much shorter than the other farmers, the young Tasmanian was just as ready to “find his missing piece” partaking in whatever was necessary to find it.

Who Did Farmer Jack Pick?
It may have been more speed than slow-burn for Farmer Jack and Sarah but there was nothing forced about their familiarity. After sparks flew from day one, it was impossible to ignore the ease with which the two of them interacted.
From their first date, when Farmer Jack (also a keen woodworker) made her a little jewellery box, to their very first kiss, it was clear that Sarah was the one for Farmer Jack and thankfully, as the season came to a close, his feelings were reciprocated.
