Gia, a 35-year-old disability support worker from Victoria, has quickly become one of this year’s most polarising brides. From the moment she arrived at the hens’ party, it was clear she wasn’t here to fade into the background.
A single mother with a blunt, unfiltered approach to life, she entered the experiment seeking a partner who could meet her momentum, not temper it.
On paper, that partner was Scott. The 33-year-old Queensland business owner runs multiple ventures, including a jet ski company and a car sales business, and prides himself on thriving in fast-paced environments.
The pair clicked instantly at the altar, dialled up the chemistry on their Townsville honeymoon and were quick to declare themselves the strongest couple in the experiment.
Revelations Week punctured the fantasy. Watching Scott’s audition tape back, Gia was confronted with his comments about children. He admitted he wouldn’t want to pay school fees if his partner had children and later confessed to Gia he had actually forgotten her child’s name.
Tensions escalated weeks later when Gia discovered photos of Scott’s ex in lingerie saved on his phone, which he was reluctant to delete despite her asking him to.
“I felt it was disrespectful to keep those kinds of photos of your ex when you’re in a relationship,” Gia told nine.com.au. “Maybe he still had feelings for her.”
Are Gia & Scott From MAFS 2026 Still A Couple?
No. Gia has recently revealed she is now in a relationship with Alan Wallace, a former contestant on reality show Love Triangle. Speaking to Daily Mail, the bride said she is “so in love” with Wallace, signalling a swift and somewhat dramatic turn in her post-experiment romantic life.
According to Gia, her relationship with Scott had already unravelled by the time she met Wallace. She claims their marriage was effectively “dead and buried” before the new romance began.
“I can’t keep pretending I’m with Scott when I’m so in love with Alan,” Fleur told the publication.
Wallace has since publicly confirmed the relationship, with sources alleging the pair are now living together.
Gia is one of several brides this season of Married At First Sight who has revealed she moved on with someone new while the show is still airing. Earlier this week, Julia Vogl surprised fans by stepping out with her new girlfriend following her on-screen split from Grayson McIvor.
Meanwhile, controversial bride Brook also made headlines after revealing she had reunited with her ex and was pregnant with his child shortly after filming wrapped.
