For those of us in Australia, we’re edging into our own season of the sticks — that in-between stretch where late autumn gives way to winter.
As the last of summer slips further behind us, Noah Kahan has delivered some timely news, announcing he’ll return to Australia and New Zealand this September and October with his biggest shows in the region to date.
After the initial success of “Hurt Somebody” in 2017, Kahan reached a mainstream breakthrough with 2022’s Stick Season. Since then, his rise to global stardom has felt almost inevitable. His soulful, gut-wrenching lyrics tap into the zeitgeist, articulating the anxieties of a generation coming of age, all underpinned by a kind of joyful melancholy that has become his signature.
The 29-year-old singer last visited Australia in January 2024, performing multiple nights in large venues — but this time, he’s stepping things up, graduating to full arena shows.
“Australia, we are coming to bring you great sadness and reflection. The Great Divide world tour is heading overseas,” the Grammy Award–nominated artist shared.
Later this month, Kahan will release his fourth studio album, The Great Divide, arriving April 24.
