Hadid first went public with her Hashimoto’s diagnosis in 2016, when she spoke on a panel for Reebok’s #PerfectNever campaign.
Hashimoto’s disease affects the thyroid gland, which controls the body’s metabolism. Symptoms can include weight fluctuations, sluggishness, depression, muscle weakness and joint pain.
