In what is surely one of Hollywood’s most brilliant female duos, Reese Witherspoon and Robin Wright are working together on an upcoming TV series.
Based on the book First Women: The Grace and Power of America’s Modern First Ladies, the series promises to be an “intimate, news-making look at the true modern power brokers at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue: the First Ladies, from Jackie Kennedy to Michelle Obama”.
The news comes hot on the heels of release of the trailer for Witherspoon’s other exciting project – Little Big Lies, which you can see here.
Witherspoon’s production company Pacific Standard (known for creating female-based projects) will produce the series and Wright is signed on to direct according to Deadline.
