Her strange diet has caused controversy in the past...

Marilyn Monroe once raised eyebrows when she spoke to a magazine in 1952 about her strange eating habits.

In an interview with Pageant Magazine, which has now closed down, she revealed that unusual food combinations appealed to her.

โ€œI have been told my eating habits are absolutely bizarre,โ€ she said. โ€œBut I donโ€™t think so.โ€

For instance, she would eat two raw eggs in milk for breakfast, and she commented, โ€œI doubt any doctor could recommend a more nourishing breakfast for a working girl in a hurry.โ€

She even had her food prep and her morning routine down to an art!

โ€œBefore I take my morning shower, I start warming a cup of milk on the hot plate I keep in my hotel room. When itโ€™s hot, I break two raw eggs into the milk, whip them up with a fork, and drink them while Iโ€™m dressing.โ€

She didnโ€™t eat lunch, and her dinner would consist of broil liver, steak, or lamb with five carrots (โ€œI must be part rabbit,โ€ she said), followed by an ice cream sundae for dessert.

Well, to each their own when it comes to food!
