The trailer for Wednesday season two, part two has been released and it’s causing some wickedly delicious chaos.
After the cliff hanger Wednesday season two part one left us on, fans have been eagerly awaiting any morsel of information the show creators would deign to give us. And we can now say with all certainty that they went above and beyond our pleas with this new trailer.
We’re given a fleeting moment of relief as we learn Wednesday is alive and well (as can be when you’re being hunted by a Hyde and your bestie’s life hangs in the balance), just to have the wind knocked out of us at the reveal Gwendoline Christie, aka Larissa Weems, makes a surprise return. Then, to top it all off, we get our first glimmer of insight into Lady Gaga’s character, Rosaline Rotwood.

Wednesday Season Two Part Two
The news of Christie’s return to the series, following her character’s death in season one, was revealed yesterday during a special event in Sydney. Now, with the trailer release we have more clarity around how Weems is back. It turns out, Wednesday can see her as a sort of ‘spirit guide’ following her near death run in with the Hyde in episode four of this season.
Though her character is still yet to be visually revealed, Lady Gaga is confirmed to be playing Rosaline Rotwood, an enigmatic and legendary Nevermore Academy teacher.
In the trailer, we hear her haunting voiceover with the words, “Beware. There will be a price to pay.” We can only assume that if Wednesday does save Enid’s life, death will wish to claim another’s in her place…
Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 Release
Season two of the show will have a total of eight episodes, evenly split into four episodes in part one and then four episodes in part two. Wednesday part two (episodes 5–8) will premiere on Wednesday, 3 September 2025.
