On Sunday night’s episode of Married At First Sight, groom Sam Ball took over Dean Wells’ position as the year’s most-hated male contestant. And, in news that shouldn’t come as shocking to anyone familiar with the series, Wells has now weighed in on the controversial groom in the comments section of Clementine Ford’s Instagram.
Posting an image to the social platform, Ford threw her support to bride Elizabeth. “Cannot wait for Lizzie to destroy this walking sewerage pipe on national TV. Ps if you wanna shame me for watching #MAFS, don’t. I love trashy TV, don’t @ me about it.”

Dean couldn’t help but give his two cents. “Wow. You haven’t [sic] learned a thing have you. I actually thought you were smarter than this.”
He continued, “You might as well being booing and hissing at the baddy in a bloody WWE wrestling match. That would probs be a little less staged. To take any kind of political/gender issue cues for this show is absolutely moronic. U have absolutely no idea what they have edited out and how they have manipulated it. Liz may have said things ten times worse in real life but they cut it out. That’s exactly what happened on my season.”
“But go ahead and enjoy watching the big bad man get his come uppance.”
He then throws out what appears to be a compliment but is really an insult – before once again making it all about him. Clementine responds in true Clementine fashion.
“I like most what Clem stands for,” Dean writes. “She just shoots herself in the foot by being a bit to extreme sometimes with the man hating. And I’m sure your friend is either lying or taking something out of context because I would never do that. People love to make up lies about me. Happens every day.”
Ford replies, “I don’t.”

Dean then addresses Ford directly, asking his thoughts on Elizabeth’s decision to stay in the experiment.
“So I’m guessing you just watched Sam at the commitment ceremony,” he asks. “What’s your thoughts? The poor dude just doesn’t wanna be there. And Lizzie just said stay so she can stay on the show for longer. Some girls really need to read ‘he’s just not that into you’.”
