Mere days ago, Cooper publicly addressed rumours of a feud, calling out what she describes as a steady stream of “passive-aggressive” reposts, likes and comments aimed in her direction.
The tension appears to trace back to Earle’s podcast Hot Mess, which launched under Cooper’s Unwell Network in 2023 before parting ways in 2025. While the network ultimately relinquished the rights to the show, the split did not appear entirely amicable.
Earle has since fuelled speculation, responding to one commenter asking her to “tell us what happened with Alex Cooper” with a pointed, “How much time do you have?”
Fan curiosity has only intensified in the months since, particularly after Earle skipped Unwell’s 2025 Super Bowl party despite being in New Orleans, while continuing to engage with increasingly pointed content online.
The latest development came via a repost labelling Cooper an “ambulance chaser” and “grim reaper”, prompting the Call Her Daddy host to respond directly.
Taking to TikTok on April 14, Cooper tagged Earle and urged her to be explicit.
“It feels long overdue. Alix Earle, hey girl,” she began.
“The passive aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things — I’ve got to call you out here. You’re going to need to get specific and say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?”
In the comments, Earle responded simply, “Okay on it!!”

The podcaster feud has now extended to three with Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia weighing in on the chat. How did we get here?
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy posted to his Instagram Story commenting on the feud, sharing a screenshot of an alleged DM from LaPaglia that read: “She’s [Alix Earle] gonna destroy her [Alex Cooper]”.
LaPaglia seemingly confirmed she and Portnoy were in communication by reposting a meme to her Instagram Story captioned “Dave spamming Chickenfry for the tea.”
On April 15, Alex Cooper took to her Instagram Stories to call out LaPaglia directly, sharing screenshots of what she described as friendly DMs between the two of them. “This girl on girl sh*t needs to stop,” she wrote, adding that the screenshots represented the only interaction the pair had ever had.
LaPaglia fired back with her own TikTok, and her version of events was considerably more pointed. “I was a fan of Alex Cooper before I knew the wrath of f*cking Alex Cooper … and how she treats people,” she said, adding that Earle had told her everything about their falling out two years prior at the Super Bowl.
“From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person.”
Cooper, for her part, went on to shut down the ambiguity, saying she is “tired” of what she framed as manufactured drama. “I know what happened, and so do you,” she added. “I have nothing to hide.”
With both Earle and Cooper attending Coachella 2026 over the weekend, the timing of Cooper’s very public call-out has not gone unnoticed. While TikTok is currently doing the heavy lifting, there are more strategic stages this could move to next.
Earle is reportedly working on a Netflix reality series, which could offer a convenient narrative arc, while a sit-down on Call Her Daddy remains the most obvious, if slightly uneven, forum. LaPaglia, meanwhile, has made clear she is “patiently sitting here, waiting for Alix Earle to come and say her side of the story.”
