Months after their falling out became a social media event for the ages, Earle has aired her side of the story.
In her new series, the influencer opened up about her fractured relationship with Cooper, revealing what she says happened behind the scenes of her time at Cooper’s Unwell Netfwork.

September 2026: Alix Earle Discusses Alex Cooper Feud On New Show
In her new reality show, Earle gave her version of events that led to her rift with Cooper and the Unwell Network. The influencer began by describing Cooper as an important influence in her early career before revealing their relationship deteriorated, claiming she ‘felt taken advantage of’.
“From the start, I didn’t realize things were going wrong because I was obsessed with her. This is my idol. I’m so happy to work with her,” Earle recounted.
“Then, I constantly felt taken advantage of and used and mistreated and manipulated,” she said. “We were filming her podcast and she’s having us drink before and asking me really sexual questions I wasn’t comfortable with, but I’m also answering because I’m drunk.”
Footage then cut to a 2023 episode of Call Her Daddy showing Cooper interviewing Earle, where she was asked intimate questions about her sex life.

When Earle later asked for some of her comments to be removed, she claims Cooper responded, “No, I think it’s so funny,” despite Earle’s concerns of the content “living on the internet forever.”
Despite wanting to tell her side of things, Earle candidly told cameras, “I am scared of Alex Cooper,” explaining why she remained silent for so long. “I always hoped that like karma or something would do its thing one day and karma is taking a while.”
April 2026: Cooper Calls Out Earle On TikTok
The chronically online may recall in April of this year, Cooper publicly addressed rumours of a rift dating back to 2025, calling out what she describes as a steady stream of “passive-aggressive” reposts, likes and comments aimed in her direction.
Earle further fuelled speculation, responding to one commenter asking her to “tell us what happened with Alex Cooper” with a pointed, “How much time do you have?”
Fan curiosity only intensified in the months following, particularly after Earle skipped Unwell’s 2025 Super Bowl party despite being in New Orleans, while continuing to engage with increasingly pointed content online.
Then came a repost labelling Cooper an “ambulance chaser” and “grim reaper”, prompting the Call Her Daddy host to respond directly.
Taking to TikTok on April 14, Cooper tagged Earle and urged her to be explicit.
“It feels long overdue. Alix Earle, hey girl,” she began. “The passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things — I’ve got to call you out here. You’re going to need to get specific and say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?”
In the comments, Earle responded simply, “Okay on it!!” But the explanation never came.
2025: Earle’s Hot Mess Leaves The Unwell Network
The tension between the women appears to trace back to Earle’s podcast Hot Mess, which launched under Cooper’s Unwell Network in 2023 before parting ways in 2025. While the network ultimately relinquished the rights to the show, the split did not appear entirely amicable.
After her departure, Earle told the Wall Street Journal that retaining the rights to her show was a process.
“That was, behind the scenes, a little bit of a hot mess,” Earle said
Meanwhile, Cooper put rumours of a rift to (a temporary) rest.
“Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do Unwell,” Cooper wrote on TikTok at the time. “[I don’t know] why she can’t/what’s going on.”
