Alix Earle is the latest celebrity to join the ever-expanding canon of reality TV debuts. In her new Netflix series, Earle Meets World, the 25-year-old lifts the lid on life in the fast lane of influencer culture, where her personal life provides no shortage of fodder and few topics are deemed off limits to the cameras.
Across eight episodes, Earle confronts everything from the lingering fallout of her parents’ divorce and her breakup with NFL star Braxton Berrios, to her enigmatic falling out with fellow creator and former employer, Alex Cooper.
Earle first began amassing a following in 2022 with her now-siganture “get ready with me” videos, and, in many ways, her Netflix series is simply the format writ large. Since then, Alix has climbed steadily through the gilded ranks of influencer stardom, finding herself in the orbit of everyone from Tom Brady and Stassie Karanikolaou to F1 driver Lando Norris.
It was during her ascent to fame that Earle’s relationship with Alex Cooper seemed to falter. Earlier in the year, the feud reached a fever pitch when Cooper called out Earle in a TikTok, sending the perennially online into a state of collective fascination over what may have caused the rift.
Even SNL joined the fray, staging an “Alex v Alix” showdown that skewered the deliberately vacuous theatre of influencer culture.
So, what exactly did Alix reveal in her new series? We’re unpacking the biggest revelations from Earle Meets World.
Alix Earle’s Fallout With Alex Cooper

After Alex Cooper called out Alix Earle for her “passive aggressive” social media activity and told her to just say what she needed to say, Earle had a succinct response: “okay on it!!”
That response finally arrived in Earle Meets World, where Earle offers her account of the professional (and personal) relationship that once saw her Hot Mess podcast produced by Cooper’s Unwell Network.
Alix recalls meeting Cooper when she was 22 and fresh out of college. At the time, she regarded Cooper as her idol, akin to an older sister, telling cameras that Cooper “sold me on a dream that she was going to protect me and look out for me.”
But she says her admiration was ultimately used against her, leaving her feeling embarrassed that she had placed so much trust in Cooper.
Alix spoke about her 2023 Call Her Daddy appearance, noting it was the first podcast she’d ever done. During the episode, Earle alleged that Cooper was encouraging her to drink while asking her increasingly sexual questions: “We were filming her podcast and she’s having us drink before and then asking me really sexual questions I wasn’t comfortable with, but I’m also answering because I’m drunk,” she says.
When Earle later asked for some of her comments to be removed, she claims Cooper responded, “No, I think it’s so funny,” despite Earle’s concerns of the content “living on the internet forever.”
Speaking to her family on the show, Earle became visibly emotional saying, “the things [Cooper] put out there…I can never take back, like my kids are going to see that.”
Despite wanting to tell her side of things, Earle candidly told cameras, “I am scared of Alex Cooper,” explaining why she remained silent for so long. “I always hoped that like karma or something would do its thing one day and karma is taking a while.”
Beyond her personal grievances, Earle also details what she says went awry behind the scenes at Unwell, describing a partnership that ultimately failed to live up to its promises.
“They were a startup company at the time, so things weren’t going to go great, but there were just constantly issues,” she said. “It wasn’t run properly and it wasn’t what I was promised or told that it was going to be like working with them.”
Alix’s Father, Thomas “TJ” Earle & His Affair With Ashley Dupré
Alix and her family revisit the scandal that saw her father, Thomas “TJ” Earle, have an affair with Ashley Dupré while he was married to Alix’s mother, Alisa.
Dupré was the former escort at the centre of the 2008 Eliot Spitzer scandal, which erupted while he was serving as Governor of New York.
TJ and Dupré eventually married and now have three children together. In the series, TJ reflects on the scandal and takes responsibility for the role he played in the fallout, while Ashley opens up about the difficulty of having her past thrust back into the public consciousness after Alix discussed the scandal during her Call Her Daddy appearance.
After spending years rebuilding her life in the wake of the scandal, Dupré says hearing Alix revisit her past so publicly left her feeling as though she wanted to “give up” and that she “had lost her spark.” However, she makes it clear that she wasn’t angry about what Alix had said, but rather “more what she left out.”
Despite the drama that has plagued their family history, the series makes clear just how close the blended family has become. TJ notes the irony of Cooper having caused a rift within their family through the Call Her Daddy podcast, only for them to now find themselves united in supporting Alix as she navigates her fractured relationship with Cooper.
Are Alix Earle & Braxton Berrios Back Together?
The series opens with Alix driving a huge moving truck to her ex, Braxton Berrios’ home, to collect the belongings she left behind following their breakup. Her best friend, Sally Carden, is by her side as the pair pack up the final remnants of Earle’s life with the NFL player, which she describes as “the last things I have left of our relationship.”
Reflecting on the split, Earle said, “Braxton and I were together for three years. He was the first actual, real love that I’ve ever experienced. I always said I could see us being old in rocking chairs together like, that’s who I would want to be there with.”
However, despite once envisioning a future with Berrios, Earle admits that the prospect of him being “ready for marriage in the near future really stressed [her] out.”
“I’m only 25. I’m not ready for that yet,” she explained. The series, however, ends on a tantalising cliffhanger, with Earle calling Berrios to ask whether there was a chance the two could ever get back together, to which he replies, “oh Alix.”
We never hear the rest of Berrios’ response, leaving their relationship status deliberately unresolved. But recent reports have added another twist to the tale, with Berrios reportedly spotted on a date with Portuguese actress Magui Corceiro.
Interestingly, Earle has been linked to F1 driver Lando Norris, whose ex-girlfriend happens to be Corceiro. The plot thickens!
Is Alix Earle Dating Tom Brady?
Alix (sort of) addressed the long-standing romance rumours with NFL star Tom Brady. The pair sparked speculation after being spotted together in St. Barts on New Year’s Eve and again during Super Bowl weekend, with a source later claiming they were “hooking up.”
In the series, Earle remains coy, saying that she is simply “having fun” when asked about the rumours. However, when Netflix asked about her current relationship status, Earle said she’s “not necessarily” seeing anyone.
