- Husband Dylan Sprouse also addressed the praise he’d gotten for standing up to cheer her on at the show, saying the reaction should be expected.
Barbara Palvin is standing by her decision to walk in the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, six weeks after giving birth to her and husband Dylan Sprouse’s daughter Sylvie.
Chatting with E! News outside the Sprouse House Halloween Party in LA on Saturday, October 31, the 33-year-old Hungarian model addressed criticism she faced for returning to work too soon.
“Honestly, there were 50-50 with the reactions,” she said, with Sprouse by her side. “Some people loved that I was back, and some people were like, maybe I should be resting at home. Everyone’s postpartum journey is different, and this is just mine.”
She added: “I’m lucky that I have the support from my husband and my family, and they were able to get me there.”
At the show, Sprouse had stood up in the crowd and blew Palvin kisses as she walked down the runway. Sprouse told E! he was as proud as he possibly could be of his wife for appearing in the show not long after giving birth, but he didn’t think he deserved as much praise as he was getting for supporting her.
“It shouldn’t be extraordinary to cheer for someone that you love walking and doing something that you’re proud of them for,” he said. “For partners, just clap and cheer. I don’t know why some people clutch their pearls about it.”

On October 23, alongside a photo of Sylvie wearing a onesie with palm-sized angel wings, Palvin thanked Victoria’s Secret for embracing her exactly where she was in her postpartum journey and for making her feel beautiful and confident.
“I mean, we were literally sewing nursing pads into my bras backstage,” she wrote. “A little reminder of the reality behind all the glam. Going back to work was a choice I was lucky enough to make.”
She added: “One thing I really want to say is that every postpartum journey looks different, and none of us should ever feel the need to compare. What you saw on the runway was me all dolled up, but my everyday postpartum reality looks very different. Some days, just finding time to take a shower or sit down and eat a meal in peace feels like a huge accomplishment.”
