Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner skyrocketed into the international spotlight after winning the 2024 Australian Open, there’s been no slowing down since.
The world #1 ranked player has added a slew of championship titles to his winning belt, including his win against Taylor Fritz in the 2024 US Open and backing up his AO championship with a 2025 title.
Despite his international stardom, the tennis star doesn’t seem to want the spotlight, determined on keeping his personal life private.
This hasn’t, however, stopped his fans from being curious about his life off-court—particularly in regards to his love life.
After his long term relationship with model Maria Braccini ended after three years of dating, Sinner moved on with fellow tennis star Anna Kalinskaya. It wasn’t fated to last however, and Sinner is reportedly dating someone new.

As of late 2025 Sinner has publicly confirmed he is in a relationship, with Danish model Laila Hasanovic. He acknowledged the romance during his winner’s speech after claiming the ATP 500 title in Vienna, officially ending months of speculation about his love life.

Laila Hasanovic: Late 2025 – Present
Rumours of a romance between Laila Hasanovic and the tennis champion began when the model began appearing at Sinner’s matches, including the French Open in June and the US Open in September.
By October, Jannik confirmed the relationship in his signature understated style by thanking his “girlfriend” in his winning speech at the ATP 500.
“Thank you so much for the support,” he began in his victory speech after winning the open. “Everyone here, with family, my girlfriend, friends. To my whole team and also those watching at home. Thank you so much for the support.”
The couple were most recently spotted on a ski vacation together in Italy over the festive season.
Anna Kalinskaya: April 2024 – September 2024
Jannik Sinner’s relationship with fellow tennis star and women’s world #14, Anna Kalinskaya, first made headlines in May, after Sinner confirmed the budding romance with local press.
Reiterating his usual tone in relation to his off-court life, Sinner told media that while he was indeed “with Anna” they preferred to “keep everything confidential”.
The Russian player was spotted courtside at various games throughout Sinner’s late 2024 season, with the men’s #1 also making several appearances on the sidelines for Kalinskaya.
Sinner spoke about his reasons for remaining out of the spotlight with Vanity Fair Italia in June last year, where he expressed why he considers privacy to be such an important focus for him.
“I want to protect the people closest to me, keeping them out of this,” he shared in relation to both his personal, and romantic relationships.
“I see it as a small task to carry out, almost a duty: they helped me, when I was young, to gain self-confidence, and today in some way I want to protect them.”
Kalinskaya has previously been linked to local tennis pro Nick Kyrgios, and like Sinner, prefers to remain private when it comes to her romantic interests.
However, in recent weeks, it’s been rumoured that the power couple may be taking some time to reassess, after Kalinskaya was notably absent from the crowd during her partner’s match in Turin in November 2024.
As of writing, neither parties follow each other on Instagram – which of course doesn’t mean they’re over – but might indicate that the couple have parted ways for now.
So I guess we’ll have to wait until after the Australian Open to see if the celebrations could act as a force for good when it comes to reuniting the off-court doubles partners.
Maria Braccini: 2020-2024
Maria Braccini is a 23-year-old model. On Instagram, she has more than 475K followers – a number that’s grown significantly since the influencer reportedly parted ways with Sinner.
Like her ex-boyfriend, Maria is also from Italy.
According to a source close to the model, Braccini prefers to keep her personal life out of the spotlight.
“Maria is a person that does not like talking to strangers. She has several close friends from an elite circle,” the source told Wtfoot.
Her friends come from the modelling and tennis industry. She does not like spending time with strangers, and it is hard for her to make new friends. Maria is an introvert who likes to spend her time alone,” the source added.
They concluded: “She values her privacy and space. It takes a long time to trust people. However, she becomes fiercely loyal to her friends.”
How Long Were Maria Braccini & Jannick Sinner Together?
The young couple dated for around three years, though their relationship remained largely kept from the scrutiny of public opinion for much of that time.
After first getting together in 2020, the couple split for a while in 2021 before rekindling their romance the following year.
During their time together, the pair kept their social media profiles private, allowing each to maintain a sense of confidentiality that each valued equally.
“Whether or not I am with a girl will never be known on social media, because I want to keep my private life private,” Sinner said in an interview at the time.
“I don’t need to post a photo to show whether I’m engaged. I never posted pictures with my parents, maybe one with my brother.”
