When you’re the children of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian and your birthdays happen to fall within a few weeks of each other, you can bet your joint party will be incredible. For North West, who turned six yesterday (June 15th), and Penelope Disick, who turns seven on July 8th, the Kardashians created Candy Land in Kim’s Calabasas backyard.
Prior to the party, Kim took to Instagram to celebrate her first child’s birthday, writing, “Happy Birthday my sweet girl! The last 6 years have been the best of my life raising you and seeing you grow up. Mommy loves you forever and beyond!”
The mother-of-four then took to Instagram Stories to share an inside look at the private party, showing her backyard transformed with rainbow colours, blow up castles, lollipops and a Mr Whippy – or Softy, as its named in the US – truck.
For the day, birthday girls North and Penelope wore matching, colourful, lolly covered outfits with North going as far as to wear fake rainbow braids in her hair:
