Nicole Kidman’s niece, Lucia Hawley, has been announced as the latest addition to 7Bravo’s Live From E! broadcast.

Aside from her famous aunt, Hawley also follows in the footsteps of her mother, TV presenter Antonia Kidman. Antonia’s esteemed media career includes both on and off-screen work, as well as co-writing two books.

In a statement released by the network, Hawley, 24,  said, “Growing up around the entertainment industry, I have watched many Live From E! red carpets over the years and feel so honoured to be able to bring my passion for style, entertainment and celebrities to the role.”

Hawley is no stranger to the red carpet, having previously interviewed celebrities at the Logies and ARIAs. She also walked the carpet of the 2018 ARIAs with aunt Nicole Kidman, who shared a sweet snap of the pair together with husband Keith Urban, captioned, “Going to the #ARIAs with my niece, we’re so excited to see Keith hosting!”

The new role will see her regularly hosting a variety of star-studded events in Australia, as well as interviewing local and visiting celebrities on 7’s new Bravo channel, which launches as part of a partnership with US Network, NBCUniversal.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph about her well-connected family, Hawley said “I am so lucky to have them both (mum and aunt) as role models — not only are they amazing at their jobs, but they also have a really strong sense of self and are very intellectual as well.”

“Having a mum who had been in the industry, through osmosis you gain that perspective and understanding and I think that’s been one of the biggest things that has helped in preparing me for this role, just having watched her and how she has carried herself through everything,” she added.

Hawley has been pursuing a career in television journalism for several years, after completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney in 2021.
