Bonds is giving its breakout Bases Flex range a seasonal refresh, dropping a new colourway just months after the underwear line first launched to major fanfare.
Bases Flex debuted in February with a campaign fronted by Shanina Shaik and Jennifer Atilémile, built around the tagline “Let’s Talk About Flex” — all about showing up as your real self, no explanations needed. The range quickly resonated thanks to its buttery-soft, second-skin feel, four-way stretch fabric and clever pull-apart elastic seams designed to move with your body (and take the guesswork out of sizing) throughout the day.
Now, Bonds is building on that momentum with Queen Bee, a rich, deep plum shade landing this July. It’s a bolder, more elevated addition to a collection that’s so far leaned into tonal and vibrant hues, from red and green through to soft pink, alongside a black one-piece bodysuit.

Queen Bee will roll out across five of the range’s most popular styles: the Lace Underwire Unlined Bra, Lace Bralette, Lace Gee, Lace Bikini and Lace Shortie, with sizing spanning 8-20 (and extended bra sizing up to G cup).

Bonds Head of Marketing, Kedda Ghazarian, says the update is about giving the collection fresh energy while staying true to what made it click in the first place.
“Bases Flex is more than just comfy undies, it’s about moving freely, feeling good from within, and celebrating yourself exactly as you are,” she says. “The range has already resonated strongly since launch in February, and this next evolution brings a fresh new energy to the collection.”
Bases Flex is available now in Bonds stores, key retailers and online at bonds.com.au, with prices from $16.99-$49.99. The Queen Bee colourway lands this July.
