The prominent theme in the cultural sphere for 2021 has undeniably been nostalgia. Between revivals, reboots and reunions, this year has seen some of TVs most pivotal series return to the screen – Friends, Gossip Girl, The Sopranos – but none have us quite as excited as that of Sex And The City's.
The HBO Max-made series, named And Just Like That…, is set to take place some 10 or so years after we last saw the iconic foursome and will consist of 10 half-hour episodes.
Now, with the first full trailer and a release date of December 9th finally revealed, one very important question remains: How do you watch the Sex And The City reboot, And Just Like That… in Australia?
Luckily for us Aussie fans, like much of HBO’s bingeable content, And Just Like That… will be available to stream on BINGE, and you can watch it for free with a two-week trial if you sign up here.
While Kim Cattrall will not be reprising her role as Samantha, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon join Parker as Charlotte and Miranda, respectively, in the reboot.
In September, the devastating news of Willie Garson's death swept the globe. He was set to return to his iconic role as Stanford Blatch in the reboot and we have no doubt the cast and show will pay tribute to his legacy in some way.
Exactly what our favourite foursome turned trio will face in the series has been kept under tight wrap, however a rumoured leaked script revealed that there's trouble in Carrie and Big's marriage.
In the first clip for the series Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are doing what they do best, brunching, sipping cosmos and shopping their way through New York.
Meanwhile Carrie can be heard saying: “"They say some things never change, but the truth is, life is full of surprises. And as your story unfolds, the city reinvents itself—and just like that, a new chapter begins."
Stream And Just Like That… on BINGE from December 9 and sign up here for a two-week free trial.
