How do you prep for race day?

In the lead-up to a big event, I eat clean and cut back on alcohol and salt. It really makes a difference to my skin when I’m eating well and staying hydrated. I also get microdermabrasion [done] prior… and [hope] I don’t get any breakouts!

What is your skincare routine?

Keeping my skin hydrated is my main focus. Simple moisturisers and eye creams are essential, as well as cuticle oil and a great body moisturiser. They are my constant go-tos.

What is your favourite spring racing make-up look?

I like a natural make-up: dewy, bronze with a bit of powder. Sometimes I mix it up and wear a bold lip but with a softer eye; it’s kind of one or the other. As long as I can have dewy skin, I’m OK with that!

Your five beauty must-haves?

If I could only have five products they would be: Maybelline New York Great Lash Mascara, Jbronze Shimmer Instant Illuminiser, Avène Thermal Spring Water spray, Colgate Optic White High Impact White toothpaste, and coconut oil.

Before leaving the house, what do you do?

Brush my teeth for the perfect camera-ready smile.

What’s always in your race-day clutch?

Definitely powder for touch-ups!
