An Act Of Kindness For Australian Frontline Workers

Looking out for the health of our health heroes

As Melbourne’s reports of COVID-19 cases increase by hundreds, masks are made mandatory and further spread across the country seems imminent, we spare a thought once again to the frontline workers keeping Australia going.

When the pandemic first hit our shores, fashion and beauty brands rallied to swap production of face creams for hand sanitisers and dresses for regulation face masks. And now, in the wake of round two of lockdowns, La Roche Posay are looking out for the mental health of those with our health in their hands.

On Wednesday 22 July at 7 pm, the brand is facilitating a free interactive live-streamed discussion to help equip Australian healthcare workers with methods to improve and maintain their wellbeing throughout these challenging times.

The session will be hosted by Deborah Hutton with guests including Dr Tim Sharp (aka Dr Happy), founder of The Happiness Institute, and Beyond Blue Volunteer, Speaker and Cardiologist, Dr Geoff Toogood, to discuss the importance of mental wellbeing and the support services available during the pandemic and beyond.

La Roche Posay will also be distributing 7,000+ care packs, and 20,000+ units of the brand’s hand sanitiser to healthcare workers across the nation.

If you are a health worker or know of someone in the field who may find this webinar helpful, please reach out for more information via the brand’s social channels.
