Tanné Snowden built Tronque on a simple, overlooked provocation: why does the body get a fraction of the science, formulation and reverence we reserve for the face?
The beauty founder has spent the past several years closing that gap – most recently with Tronque’s Neck and Décolletage Elixir, which is engineered like face-grade skincare. It’s just another embodiment of a philosophy that treats longevity as the real luxury.
Here, the entrepreneur reveals the rituals, references and reasoning behind her skincare brand, Tronque.
The mantra you live by?
Do everything with intention.
Your beauty philosophy?
My philosophy has become much more holistic over the years. Beauty, to me, is about longevity rather than perfection – taking care of your skin consistently, being considered about what you put on your body and investing in products that genuinely support it over time.
Go-to spa or beauty destination?
Joanna Czech in New York. I love her philosophy around skin longevity and her considered approach to treatments. She’s also a Tronque stockist, and she personally calls Tronque her favourite body care – which is such an honour.

Ingredient everyone should know about?
Exosomes. They’re one of the most exciting areas in skincare innovation right now. In our Neck & Décolletage Elixir, we use an advanced exosome-mimetic active derived from green microalgae. It’s designed to help improve overall skin quality.
Favourite luxury beauty ritual?
A really incredible deep-tissue full-body massage, followed by a long shower and Tronque’s Vitamin C Body Oil. Anything that forces me to slow down and switch off feels incredibly luxurious. Beyond that, a workout every morning, for the ultimate longevity glow.
Film that always inspires you?
La Piscine. The effortless 1960s French Riviera glamour is endlessly inspiring – the fashion, the beauty, the setting. It’s completely timeless.

Tronque in three words?
Innovative. Intelligent. Transformative.
The future of Tronque is?
Beyond body care as we know it. We’re building a new generation of treatments that combine biotechnology, skin longevity and extraordinary sensoriality for the entire body.
Landscape that shaped Tronque’s world?
Piha Beach, on Auckland’s wild west coast, where I spent so much of my childhood. The black sand, the rugged coastline, the powerful ocean, the extraordinary native flora and fauna that shaped my connection to nature from such a young age. That raw beauty and resilience has always felt intrinsically connected to Tronque.
