The Oscars 2019 is underway in Los Angeles today with the world’s biggest stars hitting the red carpet for Hollywood’s night of nights. While we’ve come to expect anything from the star-studded affair, we didn’t expect this dramatic hair colour transformation courtesy of Charlize Theron.
The star, who won the best actress award for her role in Monsters Ball back in 2004, debuted a brand new dark brown bob. Contrasting her duck egg blue gown, Theron opted for a bright orange lipstick and kept the rest of her make-up simple.
The South African beauty’s hairstylist Adir Abergel wrote on Instagram: “Decided to chop it all off before the big moment. #cantwaittoshare #oscars2019 #hairbyadir.”
