When Disney announced it would be launching its own streaming service, Disney+, it’s safe to say many assumed it would be led by children’s entertainment.
Home to the Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic franchises, it certainly does carry its weight in the family-friendly department, but its offering of shows and movies isn’t mutually exclusive to the genre.
A deal with Star brought edgier, bolder and original content to the site with shows such as Only Murders In The Building, Big Sky and Station 19.
