Guess Is About To Stop Traffic

The brand is bringing back its GUESS Bus and this time, denim has top billing

Nothing solves a wardrobe crisis like denim. GUESS, the 45-year-old Los Angeles brand, understands this fact intimately. It’s why denim has been part of its DNA since the beginning, and also why they’ve covered a double-decker bus in it to drive around Sydney this October. Allow us to explain.

Last year, the GUESS Bus took to the streets, bringing the brand’s signature unapologetic sexiness to the masses by way of a double-decker bus that roamed the city. It was such a success that this year, the GUESS Bus is returning in its denim finery for Destination Denim — a mobile expression of the brand’s denim DNA.

Stopping at two locations around Sydney over two days in October, the GUESS Denim Bus will welcome people into the GUESS universe, inviting them to explore the brand through a curated selection of new season denim and fashion, exclusive GUESS gifts and plenty of photo opportunities thanks to statement installations and brand moments. After all, it’s not everyday you find yourself in a denim-covered bus — that kind of thing calls for immortalising.

Inside the bus, guests will have a chance to take a sneak peek of GUESS’ upcoming collections, try on denim styles and maybe also pick out some items for their Christmas wishlists, with pieces from GUESS JEANS (the brand’s iconic range), ready-to-wear, handbags and fragrances on display. The brand has always held steadfast to the bold, flashy aesthetic inspired by the Marciano brothers’ — the brand’s founders — European heritage, shot through with a hefty dose of Los Angeles glamour. Its denim collections possess this aesthetic in spades, from its daisy duke-style cut-offs to its hip-hugging bootlegs.

The GUESS Denim Bus will be roaming around Sydney’s city streets in October, stopping at  the Overseas Passenger Terminal on October 3 and Paramatta Square on October 8 from 11am until 3pm. It’ll be hard to miss.
