There’s always been a sense of drama to Rebecca Vallance – the sharp tailoring, the sculptural silhouettes, the kind of dresses that make a room turn. But for Pre-Fall 2026, the Australian designer is leaning even further into fantasy, unveiling what may be her most transportive collection to date.
Vallance’s latest offering – titled Beneath The Bazaar – draws inspiration from two of Istanbul’s most evocative landmarks: the ancient Basilica Cistern and the kaleidoscopic grandeur of the Grand Bazaar. The result is a collection steeped in mood, mystery and opulence – where history, craftsmanship and modern femininity collide.

“2602 explores a sense of wonder and escapism, drawing on the beauty of historical spaces and the artistry found within them,” Vallance says of the collection. “Each piece is designed to evoke emotion and intrigue, while maintaining the confidence and wearability that defines the modern Rebecca Vallance woman.”
And that sense of escapism is woven through every detail. Think artisan molten gemstone embellishments that glimmer like hidden treasures, lantern-inspired embroidery, ambient prints that catch the light, and swirling embellishments designed to mimic reflections dancing across water beneath ancient stone arches. Twilight-toned potpourri florals add softness, while intricate textural work brings depth and movement.
Fabrication, as ever, remains central to the Vallance universe. This season sees luxurious silks, soft broderie anglaise cottons and structured taffetas working in deliberate contras -fluidity meeting form, romance balanced by precision. Her signature watermark taffeta has been reimagined in rich sapphire tones, creating a luminous finish that feels both regal and modern.
Collection standouts include sweeping statement gowns, sharply sculpted cocktail dresses and elevated separates designed with the modern wardrobe in mind. Tailored silhouettes are softened through modern proportions, while hand-finished embroidery and artisanal detailing reinforce the designer’s ongoing commitment to craftsmanship and evolution.

The Zendaya Mini – a sharply cut double-breasted tuxedo dress punctuated with crystal buttons and exaggerated puff shoulders – feels destined for after-dark entrances. It’s classic Vallance: structured, feminine, and impossibly polished. Nearby, the Alexandrite Mini delivers a similarly powerful silhouette, but with a dramatic gilded neckline that feels almost like wearable jewellery – ornate and sculptural.

Then there’s the Sapphire Mini, perhaps one of the strongest expressions of the collection’s Istanbul influence. Crafted in Vallance’s signature watermark taffeta – this season reimagined in deep sapphire hues. It’s exactly the kind of cocktail dress Vallance has built an empire on.
For evening, the mood deepens. The Stardust Gown – a sleek black floor-sweeping silhouette dusted in subtle sparkle – feels almost celestial, while the rich chocolate-toned Hazine Midi, draped asymmetrically with a sculptural gold brooch, brings a softer sensuality to the collection.
And then, because Vallance understands the power of a colour moment, comes the Precious Gown in a striking ruby red. With delicate straps and triple bow detailing along the bodice, it manages to feel playful and seductive all at once. In contrast, the Petalite Maxi – rendered in luminous ballet pink taffeta with a softly pleated bodice and matching belt – offers a more romantic take on occasionwear.

Daywear hasn’t been overlooked either. The Damask Rose pieces – available as both a flowing maxi and a structured midi – introduce floral prints in twilight pinks and deep crimson tones, bringing a softness to the collection.
Since launching her namesake label in 2011, Rebecca Vallance has built a global following for exactly that reason. Her signature blend of structured tailoring, feminine silhouettes and occasionwear polish has earned the brand a loyal celebrity fanbase and a presence in luxury retailers around the world. If Vallance’s previous collections were made for entrances, this one feels designed for unforgettable exits.
