Victoria Beckham has responded to rumours she’s designing Meghan Markle’s wedding dress, following news the pair have become good friends.
Since becoming engaged to Prince Harry, the ‘Meghan Effect’ has been in full swing, with everything the bride-to-be wears selling out immediately.
And, as it turns out, Victoria Beckham is to thank for Marke’s sophisticated, chic style, after the pair became friends when Meghan moved to London.
Naturally, the friendship sparked rumours that Meghan had asked Victoria to design her wedding dress, especially given she wore a Victoria Beckham knit in her engagement photo shoot.

However, today VB shut down the rumours, saying she’s not the royal wedding dress designer.
“She looked absolutely beautiful in my jumper. I’m sure it will be a really fun wedding,” Beckham told the Guardian. “But no, she hasn’t asked me to do the dress.”
Now that that’s out of the way we’re back to guessing.
British betting agency has named London-based couturier Stewart Parvin as the hot favourite.
Although you may never have heard of the couture and bridal house, Stewart Parvin has been the Queen’s dressmaker since 2000, the Daily Mail reports, and designed William and Harry’s cousin, Zara Phillips’ wedding dress when she married Mike Tindall in 2011.
Following Stewart Parvin is Erdem, Roland Mouret and Alexander McQueen, which Kate Middleton wore on her wedding day.
