When it comes to prime real estate, it’s hard to beat Sydney. The city boasts of the most luxurious and expensive properties in the country, with multiple Australian (and international) celebrities choosing to reside in the harbour-side city.

These ultra-luxe celebrity properties largely remain a mystery until they’re put up for sale, when the public finally get a glimpse of the houses the stars make their home.

The latest celebrity property about to hit the market is none other than a Woollahra mansion that was once the home of Hugh Jackman and soon-to-be ex-wife of 27 years Deborra-Lee Furness.

According to realestate.com, the famous couple rented the luxurious residence, which includes a pool and tennis court, while Jackman filmed X-Men Origins: Wolverine at the nearby Fox Studios in Moore Park in 2009.

Once the couple left the property, it was listed to rent for $5000 a week.

The property is currently owned by Australian real estate legend, James Dack. Interestingly, Dack is also married to Mary Cowin Dack, who is the daughter of Hungry Jacks founder, Jack Cowin.

The property boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms, along with a tennis court, pool and double garage. According to realestate.com.au, the property could sell between $36 and $40 million.

The home was last sold for $10.6 million in 2011, when it was purchased from property developer Rob Palmer.

While the property hasn’t officially hit the market yet, realestate.com.au says there’s not long until it does—meaning those who have the millions to afford it might secure a home with a little star power.
