After lapping up the latest Bridgerton episodes in quick succession (read: immediately), we’re hungry for more steamy gossip from the Ton. So to fill the gaping Bridgerton-shaped hole in our hearts for another month, we turned to the stars to figure out exactly which Bridgerton character matches our zodiac sign’s energy. Keep reading to find out yours.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19): Anthony Bridgerton
Determined, practical, and diligent, Capricorns will stop at nothing to achieve a goal. Sounds a little like Anthony Bridgerton in season two, when he set out to find a wife, doesn’t it? Capricorns also have a tendency to quash their emotions in favour of what they deem to be most logical – which is how Anthony almost wound up married to Edwina Sharma, instead of Kate.
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18): Eloise Bridgerton
The rebellious streak of an Aquarius could only belong to Eloise Bridgerton. Her resolve to break away from the conventions of the Ton — whether it be through her indifference to marriage, or her disregard for the class systems of the time — make her an Aquarian through and through.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20): Benedict Bridgerton
Does anybody better personify Pisces artistic flair than Benedict Bridgerton? Not only is he free-spirited in his career pursuits, but Benedict also feels everything deeply – something we will hopefully better understand when Bridgerton delves into Benedict’s love story in future seasons.
Aries (March 21 – April 19): Simon Basset, The Duke of Hastings
Who else could embody Aries’ fiery, commandeering energy but the Duke of Hastings? His brooding, contemplative ways, intense passionate side with Daphne, and unrelenting stubbornness when it came to his father make him the perfect embodiment of this zodiac sign.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Kate Sharma
A Taurean’s unique duality is best exemplified by Kate Sharma. On one hand, she’s unshakably reliable and loyal – just take her eagerness to put her younger sister’s happiness before her own, for example. But on the other hand, Kate is perhaps the most stubborn of the Bridgerton characters, having resolutely denied her feelings for Anthony until the last moment.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Penelope Featherington
While it might not seem an obvious choice, we’d argue that, beneath the surface, Penelope Featherington has the social aptitude of a true Gemini in spades. After all, she’s the face behind Lady Whistledown, the most notorious — and powerful — gossip in all of the Ton.
Cancer (June 22 – July 22): Edwina Sharma
Cancers are the highly sensitive, deeply caring, hopeless romantics of the zodiac signs, so of course Edwina Sharma is the Cancer of Bridgerton bunch. Unlike her older sister, Edwina’s debut in society was marked by a genuine belief she would find her own happy ending – no matter what glaringly obvious red flags were in the way.
Leo (July 23 – August 22): Queen Charlotte
There’s no doubt that Queen Charlotte is a Leo. Not only does she have all the markings of this fire sign’s penchant for leadership, but she also has emotional fortitude in bounds, as demonstrated by her epic, though often trying, love story with King George.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22): Violet Bridgerton
Nothing says Virgo energy quite like Violet Bridgerton’s unrelenting standards when it comes to finding her children a love match. The matriarch of this iconic family, Violet has proven stoic and reliable even in the most dire of circumstances, always with the goal of keeping the Bridgerton family intact at the front of her mind. A true Virgo, if you ask us.
Libra (September 23 – October 22): Daphne Bridgerton
There’s a reason Daphne Bridgerton was named the ‘diamond’ of her season, and we’d guess it has a lot to do with her typically Libran traits. Her charming, poised, and inherently good nature went a long way to secure Daphne a love match with the Duke of Hastings.
Scorpio October 23-November 21: Lady Featherington
Lady Featherington knows how to work the Ton for her own family’s gain, and has the social edge of a true Scorpio. And, just as Scorpios have been known to go to great lengths to get what they want, Lady Featherington has employed some pretty extreme measures to ensure she retains her estate. Case in point? She very nearly managed to convince her daughter to marry her (very creepy) cousin.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21): Colin Bridgerton
The title of Sagittarius could only go to our favourite world traveller, Colin Bridgerton. In addition to returning home from the most elaborate world trips at the start of every Bridgerton season, Colin also embodies passion and intensity of a true Sag – you need only watch that carriage scene for proof.
